Obituary of Lawrence Louis Letizia

Lawrence Louis Letizia, age 80, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at home in Wayne. Mr. Letizia was born September 19, 1928 in Jersey City, the son of the late Joseph and the late Frances (Ceraolo) Letizia. He retired from Paramont Machine & Tool, Fairfield, at age 62 where he was a mechanical engineer and shop manager. Mr. Letizia was a member of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Wayne and the Prime Time Seniors. He is survived by two daughters: Mary Kay and her husband Jerry Porter and Laurie and her husband Mark De Raffele, three sons: John and his wife Mary, Lawrence M. and his wife Lori, James and his wife Maria; grandchildren: Katie, Sean & Meghan Porter, Brian, Michael, Alex & Tara Letizia, Lauren & Marcie De Raffele, Nichole & Luke Letizia and Ryan & Emma Letizia; his sister, Therese Aniano; his brothers, Charles & Edward Letizia; his brother-in-law, Daniel and his wife Sue Kearney and his sister-in-law, Sr.Mary John Kearney. He was predeceased by his wife, C. Louise (Kearney). Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne and at 8:30 a.m. at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
