Obituary of Nicholas A. Sottile

Nicholas A. Sottile, age 76, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Hospice House, East Stroudsburg, PA. Dr. Sottile was born January 3, 1932 in Passaic, NJ the son of the late Epifanio and the late Concetta (Cutrona) Sottile. He retired to Pocono Pines, PA and Highland Beach, FL in 1995 after retiring from his dental practice in Wayne, NJ. He served in the US Navy. Dr. Sottile is survived by his beloved wife Lona Dwayne (Kern); his loving children Kathleen and her husband Joe Nunnink, Nicholas and his wife Jackie, Lisa and her husband Tom Calianese, and Stephanie and her husband Mark Colantuno and 14 cherished grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dr. Sottile's name to Hospice House, 412 E. Brown St., E. Stroudsburg, PA 18301 or American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601
