Obituary of Kermit J. Dockray

Kermit J. Dockray, Jr., age 66, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Dockray was born March 3, 1942 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Kermit J. and the late Rita M. (Watson) Dockray. He lived in West Milford. He was employed by Okonite, Paterson as an Electrician. Mr. Dockray was the Manager for over 14 years of the Over 40 Mens Softball Team, Manager & Coach of the Little League Baseball and Manager of the Pee wee Football league, all in West Milford. He is survived by his wife: Bernadette (Wells) , four daughters: Lisa and her husband William Dunn, Amy, Karyn and her husband Frank DiBerardino and Christina, two sons: Jeff and his wife Kathleen and Keith and his Fianc Lauren McCahill, one sister: Rita Dockray, two brothers: Thomas and his wife Terri and Robert and his wife Phyllis, five grandchildren, Erik,Sarah,Brian, Marissa and Dominick and a great-granddaughter, Abigail. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601
