Obituary of Doris C. Mc Ilwain

Doris C. (Dermond) Mc Ilwain, age 96, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Mc Ilwain was born June 23, 1912 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Milton and the late Mae (Vanderhoff) Dermond. She lived in Haledon and before retiring, she was employed by Meyer Brothers, Paterson, as a sales associate. Mrs. Mc Ilwain was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Mc Ilwain. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Cremation will be in Laurel Grove Crematory, Totowa.
