Obituary of Walter Robert Harrison

Walter Robert Harrison, age 79, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Lincoln Park Renaissance, Lincoln Park. Mr. Harrison was born January 14, 1929 in Paterson, the son of the late Walter Benjamin and the late Willemina (Van Harken) Harrison. He lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Paterson. He served in the US Air Force during World War II. He retired from ITT, Nutley where he was as an electrical engineer for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife: Stella (Patierno); his children Walter S., Tracy Leifer, Jane Wells and Mitchell; three sisters, Trudy Keay, Barbara Harrison and Joan Suweyn and nine grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
