Obituary of Michael Frank Simone

Michael Frank Simone, age 90, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Simone was born January 24, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Thomas and the late Marie (Cirrello) Simone. He lived in Riverdale and was formerly of Rutherford and Wayne. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was the owner/operator of Michael's Meat Market Jersey City. Mr. Simone was a member of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church and the Wayne Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife: Ann [neeAlberta], one daughter: Marie and her husband Eugene Thomas, one son: Thomas Simone, his sister: Frances Paranello, 4 grandsons, Anthony, David ,Thomas and Eugene; 3 granddaughters, Lauren, Michelle & Jennifer and 4 great-grandchildren, Allie, Tyler, Eren & Michael. He was predeceased by his Son, Anthony and daughter-in-law, Gail [nee Benson]. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Gate Of Heaven, East Hanover.
