Obituary of Stella M. Sisco

Stella M. ( DeGroot) Sisco, age 92, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Sisco was born October 10, 1915 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Rebecca (Poultney) DeGroot. She lived in Wayne and was employed by John F. Kennedy High School Paterson, NJ as a Cafeteria Worker retiring in 1983. She is survived by two daughters: Shirley Sisco and Diane and her husband Charles Coleman,one grandson, Charles Coleman,Jr. two sisters: Esther Salmanowitz and Mary Brightman, three brothers: John and his wife Rita DeGroot, Charles and his wife Barbara DeGroot and George DeGroot, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Husband, John "Tom" a Paterson Fireman who died on 9/27/1962. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 am at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne will be Celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay.
