Obituary of Edward Grant Laux

Edward Grant Laux, Jr., age 82, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Llanfair House, Wayne. Mr. Laux was born June 28, 1925 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Edward Grant and the late Julia (Breitinger) Laux. He lived in Wayne. Mr. Laux graduated with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and was employed by Howmet Dover,NJ for over 35 years before retiring. Mr. Laux attended Hawthorne Gospel Church. He is survived by his wife: Lyda (nee Holmes), two sons: Edward Grant, III and his wife Margaret and Dean Alan and his wife Kathleen ,one daughter: Laverne and her husband Dominick DeMercurio and 6 grandchildren; Leah, Amanda ,Kyle ,Katelyn, Christopher & David. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM . The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 am at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne. Interment will be in Preakness Reformed Cemetery, Wayne.
