Obituary of Maria Cusumano

Maria (Aguanno) Cusumano, age 73, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at St. Barnabas Hospice in Newark. Mrs. Cusumano was born July 14, 1939 in Castelvetrano, Sicily, Italy, the daughter of the late Giovanni and the late Angela (Russo) Aguanno. She was a homemaker, living in Wayne since 1987. Mrs. Cusumano attended St. James R.C. Church. Mrs. Cusumano is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Antonio; her loving children Frank and his wife Grace, Giovanna and her husband Rocco Stigliano, Angela and her husband Luigi Barbieri; her devoted grandchildren John, Francesca and her husband Derek Marinaro, Daniela, Catherina, Adriana and Annabella; her cherished great-grandson, Dominick Anthony; and her sisters Franca Aguanno and Pina Denis. She was predeceased by her brother, Felipe Aguanno. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-7 PM. The funeral Mass will be Monday at 9:30 am at St. James of the Marches R.C. Church, 410 Totowa Rd, Totowa. Entombment will be in Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa.
