Obituary of Charles Raymond Lawinski
Charles Raymond Lawinski, age 87, died Friday, March 7, 2008 at Oakland Care Center, Oakland. He was born November 13, 1920 in Jersey City, the son of the late Michael and the late Paulina Lawinski. He lived in Jersey City. Mr. Lawinski served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed by Keith Clark Calendar Company, Lyndhurst as a warehouse manager. Mr. Lawinski was a member of Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Wayne. He also worked for Cossitt Motor Express, formerly of Carlstadt. Mr. Lawinski was an avid reader.
He is survived by one son, Robert Lawinski; one daughter, Barbara Ann Lawinski; a grand-daughter, Brielle and a sister, Jean Nietche. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine (DeNoble).
Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
