Obituary of Rita Shayne

Rita Shayne, age 68, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at CareOne at Wayne. Ms. Shayne was born December 13, 1939 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Roger and the late Anne (Moran) Shayne. She lived in Wayne. She graduated from Cathedral High School in NYC. Ms. Shayne was the owner of Blanchfield's Flower and Gift Shop in the New York Life Building, in NYC. She is survived by her sister Mary and her husband Bret Mercuris; two brothers, Dr. John and his wife Bonnie Shayne and Michael and his wife Caryn Shayne; her good friend, Carol Rafferty and five nieces and one nephew. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 9:30a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne, NJ and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
