I remember Uncle John coming to my house in Franklin Lakes, and I would sit on his lap and he always smelled like cologne. He was a kind hearted person and when I saw him he was always smiling.

Janelle and Family,
Through the special friendship between your Dad and my brother, John, my family came to know your Dad. And over time, your Dad became a part of my family. He would refer to us as "his second family". Your Dad shared many stories of his past. He had an amazing life. There were times when I'd say to him "No way"!! or "You should write a book"!! Especially when he shared his past medical problems...he truly was the "Bionic Man". He also was a proud strong man who said he never wanted to be a burden to his children. I can't recall ever seeing your Dad in a bad mood. Even the days when he was in extreme pain, he would attempt to smile. He had a great sense of humor. Each member of my family can think of a saying your Dad had, and it makes us smile. He called me his "Orange Crush", my brother was "Johnny Bag A Donuts".....he had names for all of us. My family and I were blessed to have met such a great man. Memories of your Dad will long live in our hearts.
Peace,
Annette and Family

I have great childhood memories of times at Janelle's house. Her dad always made us laugh. I still smile when I think of him chasing the dog Max around the house! I will keep those memories close to my heart and always remember him.
