Obituary of Richard Kleckner

Richard James Kleckner, age 60, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack. Mr. Kleckner, formerly of Bergenfield, was born May 1, 1947 in New York, NY the son of the late William J. and the late Alice (Lutz) Kleckner. He lived in Wayne, and was a graduate of Bergenfield HS, and also of the RCA Institute and the Center for the Media Arts both in NYC. Mr. Kleckner was an instructor of Video Production for Fashion Institute Of Technology, NYC for 17 years. In addition he worked as a bassist/vocalist for the All Night Band for 21 years. He also served in the US National Guard. He is survived by two brothers: Chris of Richmond, VA, Jon of West Milford. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The memorial service will be Sunday at 4:00 pm at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road.
