Obituary of Ruth Reed

Ruth Reed (Simpson), age 79, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Reed was born July 31, 1928 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Samuel and the late Clara (Hoffman) Simpson. She lived in Toms River and was formerly of Paterson and Wayne. She was a waitress for many years at the Wayne Manor. She is survived by her husband: John F. Reed, one daughter: Susan, four sons: John, David, William, and Steven, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one brother: Samuel. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road. Private cremation will be in Laurel Grove Crematory, Totowa.
