Obituary of John Patrick Breslin

Jack (Red) Breslin, age 73, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 at home in Manahawkin surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Breslin was born February 17, 1934 in Paterson, the son of the late Cornelius and the late Ruth (Mc Coy) Breslin. He lived in Manahawkin and was formerly of Paterson and Wayne. He was employed as a truck driver by Bond Motor Express & Bunker Hill Trucking before retiring. Jack loved spending time on his front porch with his family. He was passionate about fishing, nature and going to Atlantic City. He was the loving husband of Fenna (Plevier), treasured Dad of Jackie Bonney and her husband George Moorhead, Judy and Ron Hickerson, Dawn and Jim Lynch and Renee Breslin, Cherished son in law of Emma Plevier. Very special brother in law of Barbara and Michael Minetti. Adoring Poppy and Uncle of Jackie, Patrick, Jonathan, Brittany, Chelsea, Kellie,Lisa,Christopher,Laura,Jayden, Rebecca,Sara, Hannah,Zachary,Robert & William . He was predeceased by his brother, Robert. PRAISE GOD Jack accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior on Aug. 21, 2007 ! Our Thanks to ALL who prayed for his salvation. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne and will be Celebrated by Pastor Dan Kuert.
