Obituary of Robert William Frauenhoff
Robert William Frauenhoff, age 80, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Atruim At Wayne, Wayne. Mr. Frauenhoff was born June 14, 1927 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late William and the late Nellie (Bley) Frauenhoff. He lived in Wayne over 50 years and was formerly of Paterson. He served in the US Navy during World War II and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. He was employed by Wayne Board of Education as a Teacher for over 40 years and was the head of the Science Department at Wayne Hills High School before retiring in 1991. He truly loved his work. Mr. Frauenhoff was a member of Preakness Reformed Church and was a man of great faith and lover of this creation. He was an avid outdoorsman. His Beloved Cabin in the Pines in N.Y. is testament to this.
He is survived by one daughter: Karen Lorraine Frauenhoff Jones, one son: William Henry Frauenhoff, one sister: Lorraine Nolan, 2 grandchildren; Holly and Barry a Niece, Laurie McCann and 2 nephews, Donald and Robert Nolan.
His wife Elsie ( Gooss) predeceased him on 11/27/2003.
The memorial service will be Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Preakness Reformed Church, 131 Church Lane, Wayne will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis TeBeest .
