Obituary of Catherine Cecilia Owen

Catherine Cecilia (O'Rourke) Owen, age 90, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Oakland Care Center, Oakland. Ms. Owen was born July 7, 1917 in New Bedford, MA, the daughter of the late John and the late Catherine (Kelly) O'Rourke. She lived in the Pines Lake section Wayne. She was employed by Pediatric Associates, Ratzer Road, Wayne, NJ as a Medical Technician. Ms. Owen was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ, and a former Grand Regent of Catholic Daughters of America and belonged to the Pines Lakes Seniors. Her husband Bernard Reginald predeceased her. She is survived by a daughter Catherine Dangoia; 3 sons, David Michael, Mark Daniel, and Dennis Patrick Owen; and 5 grandchildren. Perry Funeral Home at 111 Dartmouth Street in New Bedford, MA ( 508) 993-2921 is in charge of the arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at St. James R.C. Church, New Bedford, MA. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford. Memorials in Catherines name may be made to your favorite charity.
