Obituary of Jean Ruffenach

Jean (Edge) Ruffenach, age 85, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff. Mrs. Ruffenach was born February 18, 1928 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Harry Peter and the late Agnes Patricia (O'Neill) Edge. She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Totowa and Haledon. Mrs. Ruffenach retired from American Cyanamid in Wayne in 1987 where she was an Executive Secretary for over 25 years. Mrs. Ruffenach was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes and taught C.C.D. there. Mrs. Ruffenach is survived by her beloved sons Glenn and his wife Karen Ruffenach, Bryan Ruffenach and Dr. Stephen and his wife Deborah Ruffenach; her cherished grandchildren Collin, Stephen, Brett, Andrea and Chris; her loving sister Elaine Gregg; and her dear niece Sandy and nephew Randy. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen in 1977. There will be a memorial Mass on Saturday June 15, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes. There was a private cremation.
