Obituary of Jeanie T. Garofano

Jeanie T. (Dota) Garofano, age 84, died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Atruim At Wayne, Wayne. Mrs. Garofano was born August 18, 1922 in Phillipsburg, NJ the daughter of the late Raffaele and the late Natalina (Vermiglio) Dota. She lived in Haledon. Mrs. Garofano was a Homemaker, an Avid NY Yankee fan and a member of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church,Paterson. She is survived by two sons: Thomas C. and his wife Nancy Garofano and Dennis J. and Karen Garofano all of Wayne. one brother: Louis Dota , two sisters: Ida Leone and Dora Barbardora, a sister in law, Mary Sanzari and 2 granddaughters, Lisa and her husband David Van Way and Kayla Garfano also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas C., Sr. in 2003. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601
