Obituary of Florence Vander Vliet

Florence (Rodgers) Vander Vliet, age 88, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Florida Hospital, Palm Coast, FL. Ms. Vander Vliet was born September 13, 1918 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Jane (Dawson) Rodgers. She lived in Palm Coast and was formerly of West Milford,NJ. She was employed by Brooks Brothers in Paterson as a Examiner for many years before retiring. Ms. Vander Vliet was a former member of Totowa Memorial Church,Paterson and the Golden Age Club Of Wanaque,NJ. She is survived by three sons: Rodger Vander Vleit of Hector, NY, Robert Vander Vliet and Ronald Vander Vliet both of Palm Coast, FL, 5 Grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. She was predeceased by her Husband, Joseph Vander Vliet and a sister, Katherine Shortway. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Laurel Grove Cemetery Chapel, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa and will be Celebrated by Dr. David Wiley. Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
