Obituary of Amelia Theresa Leogrande

Amelia Theresa (Assaibene) Leogrande, age 87, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Atruim in Wayne. Mrs. Leogrande was born January 18, 1920 in Clifton, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Pierina Josephine (Milani) Assaibene. She lived in North Haledon. She was employed by Avery Shirt Co. , Paterson as a Seamstress for many years before retiring. She is survived by two daughters: Lorraine and her husband Michael Pistorio of Kinnelon, Sandy and her husband Brian Toner of Riverdale, one son: Dennis and his wife Leslie Leogrande of North Haledon, one sister: Alma Balady and 4 Grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 am at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne will be Celebrated by Msgr. John J. Carroll. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
