Obituary of Catherine Mattina

Catherine (Pianta) Mattina, age 92, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. Mrs. Mattina was born December 8, 1920 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Lucrezia (Semeraro) Pianta. She lived in Brick, since July 2012 and was formerly of Wayne. She was a Supervisor of Operations for Brooks Brothers in Paterson, NJ and retired in 1985 after over 37 years of service. Mrs. Mattina was a member of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. She was loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her nephews, Lou and his wife Cindy Rose and Paul and his wife Pati Stadelman, Great nieces, Andrea Stadelman and Ashley and her husband Shaun Navarra. She was predeceased by her Husband, Chuck Mattina. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-7 PM. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Road, Wayne and will be celebrated by Father ST Sutton. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson.
