Obituary of Hans Preuss

Hans Preuss, age 79, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Careone At Wayne, Wayne. Mr. Preuss was born March 31, 1927 in Germany , the son of the late Emil and the late Emma (Falkowski) Preuss. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Riverdale. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Mr. Preuss was retired from Trappoge Industries Woodbury,NY in 1990 where he was the Vice President. He was a member of the Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Lakes. He was a Junior Navigator of the United States Power Squadron, The Commodore of the Pines Lake Sailing Club and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Pines Lake Association. He is survived by two daughters: Leslee and her husband Dennis Ferray of Wayne, & Lorrie and her husband Rick Samalot of Canoga, CA, two sons: Ken and his wife Robin of Boonton Twsp. & Donald and his wife Carol of Kenosha, WA. Grandchildren ;Jonathan,Bethany,Shannon, Randy, Liz And Matt and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his Wife, Relda Mae (Weeden) in 1996. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne. There will be a funeral service on Sunday at 8:30 pm at Moore's Home For Funerals and a private graveside service on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY with Rev.
