Obituary of John S. McDiarmid

John S. McDiarmid, age 67, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. McDiarmid was born January 12, 1940 in Paterson, the son of the late James A. and the late Marie (Coogan) McDiarmid. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Fairlawn. He retired from Singer-Kearfott in Little Falls in 1990 where he was Manager of Estimating and was Manager of the year in 1987. He worked at Singer-Kearfott for 23 years. He was The Founder of the Save a Child fund. He is survived by his wife: Christine (Parese), two daughters: Lisa Magurire and Lorelei Moskowitz both of Wayne, one sister: Arlene Morabito of Raleigh, NC, two brothers: James of Mililani, HI and Robert of Raleigh, NC, 2 Grandchildren Michael and Cassie Maguire. He was predeceased by his Brother, Buddy. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 1-3 & 5-7 pm at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 am at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne will be Celebrated by Fr. John Rollins. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
