Obituary of Evelyn Mildred Newton

Evelyn Mildred (Setti) Newton, age 94, died Friday, February 2, 2007 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Newton was born September 8, 1912 in Union City, NJ the daughter of the late John and the late Ellen (Clark) Setti. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of New Milford and Franklin Lakes. Mrs. Newton was a graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing, Jersey City. She was employed by Hackensack University Medical Center as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years before retiring. Mrs. Newton was a former member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Oradell. She is survived by one daughter: Ellen Bava of Wayne, 5 Grandchildren; Joseph, Mary-Jo, Christopher, Dorian & Scott and 6 Great-grandchildren; Dina, Luke, Nick, Hailey, Cole & Jayde . She was predeceased by her Husband, Allan Lawrence and a Son, Howard. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and be Celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
