Obituary of Nellie B. Peterson

Nellie B. (Valkenburg) Peterson, age 78, died Friday, February 2, 2007 at home in Paterson. Mrs. Peterson was born September 17, 1928 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Tice and the late Elisa (White) Valkenburg. She is a lifelong resident of Paterson. She was employed by The City of Paterson as a Crossing Guard. Mrs. Peterson was a member of 2nd Home Seniors in Paterson and The Caring Seniors in Totowa. She is survived by three daughters: Nellie Counterman of Paterson, Annie Garay of Elmwood Park and Lois Ortiz of Puerto Rico, one son William of Abilene, TX, 11 Grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Husband, William in 1988. All arrangements are private and will be handled by Moores Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
