Obituary of Claire Marie Schutze

Claire Marie (Mac Ilwraith) Schutze, age 84, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Schutze was born September 5, 1922 in Jersey City, the daughter of the late George and the late Gertrude (Mc Naney) Mac Ilwraith. She lived in Wayne before moving toTotowa. She was employed by Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Twsp., as a Nurse. Mrs. Schutze was a member of Our Lady of The Valley R. C. Church, a Volunteer at Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa and Founder of the First Saturday Club. She is survived by one daughter: Claire Marie Ziem of Wayne, five sons: William of Bloomingdale, John of Saratoga Springs, NY, Vincent of Wayne, Timothy of Budd Lake, Michael of Cocoa, Fl, one sister, Helen Hennings of Wayne, 15 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman in 1968 and her son Bernard in 1996. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 7-9 PM at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 am at St. Josephs Home for The Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa will be Celebrated by Fr. Evans.
