Obituary of Violet Witkowski

Violet (Egyud) Witkowski, age 77, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at home in Wayne. Mrs. Witkowski was born September 30, 1929 in Passaic, the daughter of the late James and the late Margaret (Moore) Egyud. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by The Township of Wayne Planning Dept. as a Coordinator for 35 years before retiring. Mrs. Witkowski was a member of Our Lady of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne. Mrs. Vitkowski established and was the President of the A.F.S.C.M.E. Union, Council # 52, Local # 2192 for Wayne Township Employees. She is survived by her husband: John Witkowski; one daughter: Debra and her husband Gerald Campoli of Wayne; one son: Bruce and his wife Cindy of Florida, NJ; 4 grandchildren: Glenn Witkowski and Corey Witkowski of Florida, NJ, Daralee Campoli of Butler, and John and his wife Rebecca Campoli of Wayne; one sister: Sylvia Applegate of Freehold; and her beloved friend Helene Shenesko of Wayne. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne, will be Celebrated by Rev. Daniel W. Murphy. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Eva's Kitchen & Sheltering Programs, 393 Main St., Paterson, NJ 07501-2815.
