Obituary of Paul R. Burke

Paul R. Burke, age 70, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at home in Lake Hopatcong. Mr. Burke was born May 26, 1936 in Pawtucket, RI the son of the late George and the late Rose (Shea) Burke. Before settling in Hopatcong he lived in Totowa. Mr. Burke was a graduate of NJIT in Newark. He was retired from Allied Signal in Teteboro, NJ in 1991 where he was a Rocket Scientist for many years. Mr. Burke was a member of St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong. He was a Councilman, the Liaison for the Police Department and on the Planning Board in Hopatcong. He was very instrumental in the funding and opening of Modick Park in Hopatcong. He is survived by many Beloved Friends & Family. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne.
