Obituary of Jean J. Pirard

Jean J. Pirard, age 57, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Pirard was born March 24, 1949 in Jumet, Belgium, the son of the late Marcel and Raymonde (Allard) Pirard of New Windsor, NY. He lived in Haledon and was formerly of Emerson. He was a graduate of Bergen Community College, Paramus. He was employed by Lipton Foods in Englewood Cliffs and later at Custom Chemicals in Elmwood Park as a Quality Control Tech for many years before retiring. Mr. Pirard was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians R. C. Church, Paterson. He is survived by his wife the former: Christina Moos, two daughters: Cybil Oliver of Little Falls and Jeannette Pirard of Haledon, one brother: Joel Pirard of New Windsor, NY his mother:Raymonde nee (Allard) Pirard of New Windsor, NY and 2 Grandchildren, James & Gabriella. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 9:30 am at St. Mary Help of Christians R. C. Church in Paterson, and will be Celebrated by Fr. Joseph G. Buffardi. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Help of Christians R. C. Church, 410 Union Ave, Paterson, NJ 07502.
