Obituary of James Stuart Diehl

James Stuart Diehl died April 11, 2013 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ at the age of 66. He was born in Paterson and was a resident of Wanaque for over 40 years. He was the youngest child of the late Frederick F. Diehl II and the late Frieda S. Diehl; brother to the late Frederick F. Diehl III. Mr. Diehl is survived by his two children Brian James Diehl of Wanaque, NJ and Matthew Stanley Diehl of Wanaque, NJ; his nephews Shawn Patrick Diehl of Tampa, Florida and Shane Patrick Diehl of Toms River, NJ; and his aunt Marion Williams of Sarasota, Florida. Mr. Diehl served in the US Navy 2nd Force Dental Company, 2nd Marine Division, FMF, at Camp Lejeune, NC during the Vietnam War, from 1967 to 1968. He also served in the Navy Reserve. He worked for Hoffman-La-Roche in Nutley, NJ for 40 years. He held several positions at Hoffman-La-Roche the last of which was Senior Purchasing Agent and held several professional designations including CPM and CPIM. He retired in 2010. James was an avid fisherman and golfer. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 8:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm.
