Obituary of Sophia Theoharris

Sophia (Bakos) Theoharris, age 97, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Vista Oaks Of Lakeway, Lakeway, TX. Mrs. Theoharris was born February 4, 1909 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Peter and the late Hareklia (Pantages) Bakos. She lived in Austin, TX and was formerly of Paterson. She was a teacher and principal employed by the Paterson Board Of Education until retirng in 1979. Mrs. Theoharris was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, Paramus.. She is survived by 2 Nieces, Joanne ( Bakos) And Her Husband Paul Antrim of Austin, TX; and Joann ( Lales) And Her Husband Clyde Gahman of Orefield, PA; her Sister In Law, Emily Bakos of Austin, TX; 2 great-nieces and 2 great nephews and 2 great-great nieces. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Stanley in 1997.Also by her 3 brothers, Athanasios, Constantine and John Peter Bakos and 2 Sisters, Pauline Bakos and Kathryn Bakos Lales, a Nephew, John Constantine Peter Bakos and a Niece, Nikoleta Lales Moser. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 am at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Moores Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd. Wayne in charge of the arrangements.
