Obituary of Marion P. Sanford

Marion P. (Perkins) Sanford, age 86, died Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her sons home in Ocean Grove, NJ Mrs. Sanford was born September 9, 1920 in Staten Island, NY the daughter of the late Lewis and the late Marion (Potter) Perkins. She lived in New Smyrna Beach, Fl and was formerly of Awosting Section of Hewitt, NJ. She was employed by The Beacon Newspaper in Clifton,NJ as a Circulation Manager for over 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Sanford was a former member of Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church,Hewitt and more recently of Our Lady Star of the Sea, New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is survived by two sons: Thomas Sanford and Robert L. Sanford both of Ocean Grove, NJ. She was predeceased by her Husband, Robert E. Sanford, Jr. in 1970. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11:30 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne. Interment will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2006 from 1-4PM at the Shore casino, Municipal marina off 1st street, Atlantic Highlands.
