Obituary of Helen Jacelone

Helen (Tyahla) Jacelone, age 81, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Jacelone was born December 3, 1924 in Clifton, NJ the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Helen (Markovich) Tyahla. She lived in Whiting and was formerly of Clifton and Wayne. She retired from William Paterson University in Wayne in 2002 where she was a Secretary for the Language Department and the Poetry Chairperson. Previously she worked at U.S. Rubber in Passaic, The Popular Club in Passaic and Tycon in Garfield. Mrs. Jacelone was a member of St. Peter & Paul RO Greek Catholic Church, Passaic and the Golden Rod Chapter in Passaic. She is survived by two sons: Joseph, Jr. and his wife Marcia of Overland, KS and Dr. Peter and his wife Frances of Randolph, and 2 Grandchildren, Joseph And Jennifer. She was predeceased by her Husband, Joseph, Sr. ( 1979) and 2 Brothers, Peter ( 1993) and Paul (1967). Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 am from Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne and at 11:00 am at St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, 200 Third St. Passaic.. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Saddlebrook.
