Obituary of Diane Szabo

Diane (Gorczynski) Szabo, age 50, died peacefully, on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Szabo was born March 8, 1963 in Passaic, NJ the daughter of the late Leonard and Julia (Bigert) Gorczynski. She lived in Garfield before moving to Riverdale. Mrs. Szabo was employed by Dowling Food Service at the Riverdale School as a Cafeteria Manager. She is survived by her loving husband: George, her devoted children, Nicole, Tara and Bryan; her mother Julia (Bigert) Gorczynski; three sisters Lisa,Deborah and Lori and one brother: Richard as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes and will be celebrated by Fr. Gonzalo. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
