Obituary of Edward William “JIM” Greenwood

Edward William ''JIM'' Greenwood, age 73, died Monday, July 24, 2006 at St Josephs Campus, Asheville, NC. Mr. Greenwood was born February 27, 1933 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Edward and the late Violet (Hoffman) Greenwood. He lived in Asheville and was formerly of Hopatcong,NJ, Sedona,AZ and Haledon,NJ. He served in the US Army during Korean war . He was a Self-Employed as a Block Mason/ Carpenter in the Construction Business. He was certified as one of Arizonas 1st Paramedics. He was a member of the Sedona/Red Rock volunteer fire department, the BPO Elks Lodge and a NRA instructor in Sedona,AZ. He is survived by one daughter: Candace And Her Husband Greg Drebert of Sedona, AZ, two sons: Kelly And His Wife Lois Greenwood of Asheville, NC, Keith And His Wife Betty Greenwood of Bennett, CO, one brother: Don And His Wife Susan Greenwood of Wayne, NJ, 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm.
