Obituary of Sharon Doreen Amato

Sharon Doreen (Padovani) Amato, age 60, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Amato was born April 22, 1952 in Paterson, the daughter of Louis and Kathleen (Hughes) Padovani. She lived in Wayne and was an animal lover. Mrs. Amato was a self-employed portrait artist and the winner of a contest for background art design of a Bally's pin ball machine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 4-6 pm with a celebration of life service at 5:00 p.m. Ruthann Disotell will officiate. Mrs. Amato is survived by her beloved husband Anthony Amato; her devoted children Athena, Devin and his wife Jessica, and Thein; her loving parents, Louis and Kathleen and her dear brother Harry Schaefer.
