Obituary of John Stephen “Jack” Prevish

John Stephen ''Jack'' Prevish, age 71, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Mr. Prevish was born May 14, 1935 in Scranton, PA the son of the late John and the late Anna (Leonard) Prevish. He lived in Paterson most of his life. He was employed by Grand Hardware in Paterson for 48 years as a Manager before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Paterson. He is survived by seven sisters: Helen Danko of Paterson, Mary Kay and her Husband Robert Schultz, Betty Jean and her husband Frank Fezuk, Barbara Jean and her husband James Mc Allister, Rose Ann and her husband Eugene Liberty all of Scranton, PA, Margaret Latosky of Hopbottom, PA, Ann Marie Yurchak of Olyphant, PA, three brothers: Kenneth and his wife MaryAnn of Peckville, PA, Robert and his wife Sally Pifcho of Scranton, PA, George and his wife Gloria Pifcho of Dunmore, PA, Friends, Frank Tempe, Marie Homsky, Richard Englehardt and Family of Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9:30 am at St. John The Baptist Cathedral, Main and Grand Streets, Paterson and will be celebrated by Msgr Mark Giordani. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
