Obituary of Lucuis D. Dzienis

Lucuis D. Dzienis, age 85, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Dzienis was born March 13, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Sigismund and the late Florence (Winckowski) Dzienis. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Clifton. He served in the US Army during World War II and a former member of American Legion Post #174 Wayne. He was employed by Singer Kearfott Totowa as an Accountant for many years retiring in 1984. Mr. Dzienis was a member of Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne. He is survived by his wifethe fomer: Margaret Mraz, two daughters: Patricia and Linda Dzienis both of Wayne, one son: Robert Dzienis of Tucson, AZ, and a brother: Peter Yagins of Clifton. Mr. Dzienis was predeceased by 2 brothers: Edward Dzienis and Frank Dennis and a sister: Elizabeth Svec. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, 620 Valley Rd., Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr.James Moss. Interment will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
