Obituary of Alice Marie Leonard

Alice Marie (Van Ness) Leonard, age 101, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in Wayne. Mrs. Leonard was born March 17, 1905 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Cornelius and the late Theodora (Peters) Van Ness. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Michigan. She was a homemaker for many years before retiring. She is survived by one daughter: Dorothy May Sisco of Wayne, 3 Grandchildren Sheryl Chacon of Riverdale, James C. Sisco of Tampa, FL and Randall Sisco of Clifton, 3 Great Grandchildren, Natasha Chacon and Christina and Brian Sisco. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George J. in 1976. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson will be Celebrated by Fr. Brando. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
