Obituary of Elizabeth Yarmchuk

Elizabeth Betty (Doerwald) Yarmchuk, age 78, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Yarmchuk was born April 21, 1928 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late William and the late Helen (Rooney) Doerwald. She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Paterson. She was employed by J & A Cleaners, Paterson where she was Clerk, previously she worked for NJ Bell as a Telephone Switch Board Operator and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also worked at Wright Aeronautical in Paterson as a messenger. After retirement, she was an accomplished Pet Portrait Artist working from her home. Mrs. Yarmchuk was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. She is survived by her husband: Andrew Yarmchuk, two sons: Bob and his wife Fran of Tucson, AZ and Ed and his wife Joann of Mahopac, NY and 4 Grandchildren, Keith,Jill, Larisa and Anna Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Fr. Charles officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
