This is most terrible news. I cannot express how saddened and upset I am to hear of Dave's passing. Lisa, Mr. and Mrs. Dragone, please accept my deepest sympathy.
I've known Dave since age 12. All of my childhood memories include Big Dave. Playing ball and sleigh riding on Knight Road, riding our bikes to WT Grants, sharing 1 serving of fries and paying with 99 pennies, stopping by his house each day on my way to the bus stop, making fun of his kitchen clock; the cat with the wagging tail, missing the bus home the first day we attended Schuyler Colfax and being taunted by Mr. Crum the library teacher while waiting for a ride home, being known as the Drags and Costanz by the Colfax gym teachers, hitting golf balls at eacg other and onto Hamburg Turnpike, walking out of the building in disbelief then cheering on the fire on at Wayne Hills Hhigh, getting my drivers license then buying seasons passes to Great Adventure and stopping for breakfast at the Molly pitcher rest area on the Turnpike each trip, cruising around in and eventually buying from him, his toy like and always broken down Fiat 128 "cheezbox", riding to Barnegat Bay to go crabbing in his red Fiat Spyder Convertable and laughing when a bird christened his forehead, Dave taking beautiful picures of my wedding and Dave giving a 6 foot stuffed white teddy bear to my daughter when she was born.
I am so sorry that I have not recently spoken to Dave.
Brother Big Dave, you will always be in my fondest memeories. Rest in piece.

I cannot believe this has happened; David had many more years to live and so much more to do. He is loved by all who knew him. There was so much I wanted to do with David, so much I wished to talk to him about. David was a good man and a wonderful husband; he treated his wife, my sister, with so much love and respect. He loved my father and was deeply loved by my father. I will miss him in ways I cannot yet know.
