Obituary of Louis Christopher Costabile

Louis Christopher Costabile, age 70, died Monday, February 13, 2006 at home in Wyckoff. Mr. Costabile was born June 21, 1935 in Newark, NJ the son of the late Luciano and the late Carmella (Latorri) Costabile, He lived in Wyckoff and was formerly of Brooklyn, NY. He served in the US AirForce from 1954-1955 and earned the National Defense Service Medal. For the last 10 years, Mr. Costabile worked at Occhis Friendly Mobil Service in Wyckoff. Previously he was employed by Okonite, Paterson,NJ where he was a Fork Lift Driver and was a Longshoreman with the Waterfront Commission of NY Harbour. He was a member of the International Longshoremens -AFL-CIO local # 824, NY, NY Mr. Costabile was a parishioner of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, Paterson He is survived by his wife Lisa (nee DeSantis), three sons: Jason of Long Island, NY, Louis & Anthony of Wyckoff, five Daughters, Lois,Renee and Jenine all of Long Island, NY; and Gina & Lisa of Wyckoff. 4 grandchildren and a brother: Arthur of Ogdensburg, NJ, The funeral service will be Thursday evening at 8PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne with Fr. Jack Hanley officiating. Visiting from 7-9PM on Thursday. Burial will be in NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown on Friday at 10:30am. Memorials may be made to To The Family
