Obituary of John William McKnight

John William McKnight, age 49, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. McKnight was born January 10, 1957 in Teaneck, the son of William and Gloria (Horvat) McKnight of Paramus. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Paramus. He was a graduate of Paramus High School. He was Owner/Operator of The Preakness Gourmet Deli in Wayne for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife the former: Amy Lerner, three daughters: Jenny, Rachel and Laura all of Wayne, one sister: Patricia Suriani of Paramus, , two brothers: Bill of Pompton Plains and James Cheech of Wayne. Brother In Law of Eric Lerner of MD and Son In Law of Sid and Blossom Lerner of Pompton Plains. Visiting hours will be Monday from 11AM -1 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals with Rabbi Stephen M. Wylen officiating. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Please omit flowers.
