Obituary of Anita Margaret Van Der Woude

Anita Margaret (Bush) Van Der Woude, age 99, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Oak Ridge Nursing Center, Wayne. Mrs. Van Der Woude was born August 30, 1906 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late William H. and the late Mary (Dolan) Bush, She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Paterson and Hialeah Gardens,FL. She was employed by Quakenbush Department Store Paterson,NJ where she was Sales Associate before retiring.Previously she worked for Curtiss-Wright in Wood-Ridge. Mrs. Van Der Woude was a parishioner of St. John The Baptist Cathedral, Paterson. She is survived by two daughters: Kathleen Heffernan of Toms River and Anita White of Mahwah, a son: William of Toms River, 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 8:30 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, Wayne with Father John Alderson officiating. Private cremation to follow.
