Obituary of Joseph Humenny

Joseph Humenny, age 81, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Humenny was born September 24, 1924 in Usti Zalenny, Ukraine. The son of the late John and the late Mary Humenny. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Clifton and Kerhonkson, NY. He was employed by Grand Union in Clifton, where he was a Butcher for 25 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Catholic Church in Passaic. He is survived by two daughters: Mary Link of Wayne and Natalie Baldinger of Weston, FL, three sisters: Stephanie, Ulka, and Natalie all of the Ukraine and 4 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Harasemchuk in 1974. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Rev. Ihor Royika officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddlebrook.
