Obituary of Eleanor V. Benedict

Eleanor V. (Mc Cabe) Benedict, age 93, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at home in Wayne. Mrs. Benedict was born January 25, 1912 in Newark. She lived in Wayne over 40 years, where she was Homemaker. Mrs. Benedict was a member of Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne. She is survived by two sons: William F. and his wife Theresa of Wayne, and Raymond J. and his wife Diane of West Milford, two sisters Margaret Zandee of AZ and Evelyn Fitzsimmons of Kearney, Grandchildren, Gerard, William, Timothy, Jason, Ryan & Dana ; Great Grandchildren, Katherine, Briana and Jameson. She was predeceased by her husband William F. and her son Gerard Joseph. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. John T. Connolly. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
