Obituary of Edna E. Mitchell

Edna E. (Kratz) Mitchell, age 98, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Regency Gardens Nursing Center, Wayne. Mrs. Mitchell was born April 24, 1907 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Axel A. and the late Anna O. (Johnson) Kratz, She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Carbondale, PA and West Milford. She was a graduate of Paterson State Teachers College, Wayne. She retired from Haskell Elementary School, Wanaque, in 1969 where she was Teacher. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of NJEA She is survived by one daughter: Joreen Ransom of Wayne, NJ, 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. and a grandson, Robert Ransom The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Laurel Grove Cemetery Chapel, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa.
