Obituary of Eleanor D. Van Genderen

Eleanor D. (Grayson) Van Genderen, age 96, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Lincoln Park Care Center, Lincoln Park. Mrs. Van Genderen was born August 13, 1916 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Sarah (Leach) Grayson. She lived in Pompton Plains since 1963 and was formerly of Paterson. She was the Co- Owner and Secretary of Van Genderen Distributors, Little Falls. Mrs. Van Genderen was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She is survived by her two daughters: Eleanor and her husband Peter Ventimiglia, Sandra B. Van Genderen; a sister, Audrey Wispelwey; her grandsons, Jeffrey Barna and his wife Lora, Douglas Barna and his wife Kathy, Jonathan Barna and Peter Ventimiglia,Jr. and his wife Samantha, and her great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kate, Elizabeth, Amanda, Philip, Grace and Abigail Barna and Lucy, Emma and Harry Ventimiglia. She was predeceased by husband, Gerard W. and her daughter Geralyn and her husband Richard Barna. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 10 - 11 AM. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home . Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
