Obituary of Dorothy Franks

Dorothy (Lotz) Franks, age 92, died Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Franks was born June 26, 1913 in Passaic, NJ the daughter of the late Jocob and the late Matilda (Wetzel) Lotz, She lived in Wayne since 1996 and was formerly of Toms River. She was employed by NJ Bell Paterson, NJ where she was Telephone Operator for over 40 years retiring in 1969. Mrs. Franks was a member of Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, Wayne, NJ and the Telephone Pioneers of America She is survived by one brother: Wilbur Lotz of Rochelle Park, a Niece:Patricia Moore a Nephew: Robert Lotz and 3 Great Nephews, Jason, Jonathan & Robert She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1992 Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11AM Our Lady Of The Valley R. C. Church, 620 Valley Rd., Wayne with Msgr. James O'Rorke officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
